Popular streaming giant Netflix is all set to launch a free mobile plan in Kenya.
Under the plan, users will not be required to provide any payment information during sign-up. According to the TechCrunch report, the new program is available to any user who is 18 years of age or older with an Android phone.
Announcing the news in a blog post, Cathy Conk, Director of Product Innovation at Netflix, wrote, “If you’ve never seen Netflix before – and many in Kenya – this is a great way to experience our service.” An excellent way to go.
The free plan, which started on Monday, will be implemented in Kenya in the coming days. The company has not disclosed how long it plans to offer these free tires.
